Fees & Policies
THE PLACEMENT SPECIALIST WILL EMAIL YOU CONFIRMATION ONCE YOUR SITTER IS BOOKED. In order to finalize booking, please be sure to check we have your updated credit card information on file.
* Our babysitters are instructed not to use their cell phones while working. If you would like your sitter to be available by cell phone, please let her know to keep her phone on her in advance.
* If your babysitter will be working at night, please make sure to leave the home well lit and an outside light on.
* There is a 4 hour minimum for MHC babysitters. The charge on your credit card will be processed after completion of the assignment.
* Hourly rate is $30.00 per hour for 1-2 children and $1.00 more per hour for each additional child up to four children.
* Hourly rate is $31.00 per hour for event sitting.
* Late Booking Fee: $40 (for a request form submitted 24 hrs prior to the job start time)
* Cancellation Fee:
Less than 24 hours notice is 50% of the sitting fee. Less than 12 hours notice is 100% of the sitting fee.
* The client agrees to pay (15%) deposit on the total estimated fees for assignments lasting one week (40 hours) or more. Client acknowledges in order to receive a full refund on the deposit, the client must cancel in writing not less than 10 days before the projected due date. The provided credit card will be charged 15% deposit and the remaining balance will be charged on a weekly basis.
* A mileage fee of $0.56 per mile might apply for assignments outside of the service area - outer loop/beltway 8.
* Compensation for Holidays will be time and a half. These holidays will include: New Year's Eve (after 5pm), New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve (after 5pm), and Christmas Day.
* Credit cards will be charged for the originally scheduled hours stated in the confirmation email; unless other arrangements are made 24 hours prior to the sitter arriving. Any extra hours will be charged according to the stated rate above.
