The transition into motherhood can be challenging. So many questions, an abundance of information, sleep deprivation and adapting to the schedule of a newborn who mostly has unpredictable feedings and naps. Whether you took prenatal education classes to prepare or not, it’s all a little different once your baby is actually home and you feel like you’re winging it at this parenting thing.
Motherhood Center is proud to provide an opportunity for all moms and their babies to come together, not only to learn and grow into their new role, but to also find support, friendship, and guidance from other women in a similar situation.
Our New Mother School classes are designed to address a broad range of topics and are presented by our educators and guest experts in their related fields. We pride ourselves in providing a welcoming, safe, and judgment-free zone for all moms to feel welcomed and comfortable.
We offer two 8-week series, and with a regular rotation of in-person classes, there are plenty of opportunities for all moms to find a good fit. Class sizes are limited to help keep the experience intimate and inviting, and babies are welcome to join and socialize.
Our hope is that not only do our clients come out feeling empowered and prepared with knowledge, but also find common bonds with other moms that can lead to support and friendship. We are only as strong as the community we build, and it truly takes a village to raise a child in this world we live in today. Let us help you build the foundation of your village and a strong start on your parenting journey.
