Happy Mother’s Day! If you are an expecting mama, you’ll get to celebrate your first Mother’s Day next month! We typically think of Mother’s Day as a holiday for children and husbands to show their appreciation. It’s also the perfect opportunity for you to treat yourself!

Motherhood is extremely rewarding, but as our experienced moms know, each day brings its own set of unique challenges. As a mother you are responsible for the well-being of your children. Please remember you are also responsible for your own wellness.

It’s so important for you to make the time to take care of yourself. I know it’s easier said than done, but “if mama ain’t happy, ain’t nobody happy.” Allowing yourself 60 or 90 minutes for a relaxing, soothing massage is an ideal way to grab some moments of quiet and peacefulness.

If you are expecting, one of the best things you can do for your body is have a prenatal massage. Prenatal massages can help alleviate common discomforts associated with pregnancy by increasing skin elasticity, nourishing parched skin, relieving itchy bellies, rejuvenating heavy legs, assisting with circulation, easing tired muscles, and reducing water retention.

The Motherhood Center is offering a special on all massages scheduled for the week leading up to Mother’s Day. It’s our way of saying Happy Mother’s Day to You! Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 8th, so call today to book a massage for May 2nd– May 7th and you’ll receive 20% off your massage. Pamper yourself this Mother’s Day. You deserve it!
