Motherhood Center prides itself in having one of the best prenatal yoga instructors in Houston.  This week we would like to highlight Marjie who has been teaching prenatal yoga at our center for about 12 years.

Marjie Prenatal Yoga

“I have learned how very strong and amazing women of this generation are to have children now.  They are positive about the future and have great hopes for their own lives and that of their children.  Most also are very knowledgeable about what they are doing and making informed choices about their pregnancy and the raising of their children.” said Marjie.

She further stated, “I find that the challenge and the joy of teaching is to meet your students where they are at and to teach a class that helps everyone in some way without making it too hard for a 3rd trimester or too easy for a 1st or 2nd trimester.”

Marjie has a great understanding of the pregnant body.  She is a wealth of knowledge.  Often times clients approach Marjie whenever they have any aches and often times she is able to show them poses that eliminate whatever issue with which they came to class.

We look forward to seeing you at our center soon.  Check our schedule for upcoming prenatal, mom and baby and mommy and me yoga classes!
