Yoga, Fitness & Pilates Classes

Motherhood Center is Houston’s only full-time prenatal yoga, fitness and Pilates studio. For over 20 years we have specialized in providing a variety of prime-time classes for all stages of motherhood, 7 days a week. We offer walk-in classes, so no need to preregister, and you can enjoy a class when it is most convenient for you! Yoga is proven to reduce stress by lowering levels of cortisol in the body, boost immune function and levels of “feel good” chemicals in the brain, and balance the body by reducing the body’s level of inflammation. Since many of our instructors have been with us for several years and are well versed in prenatal yoga techniques, they provide optimum instruction to either the novice, or the most experienced. If you will be attending a class for the first time, please arrive at least 15 minutes early to familiarize yourself with the center.

Prenatal Yoga

During your pregnancy it’s important to set aside time for yourself. Prenatal yoga gives expecting moms the opportunity to relax, breathe, and connect with their baby. Our yoga classes will help you ease the discomforts of your pregnancy and help prepare your body for childbirth.

Prenatal Fitness & Pilates

Prenatal Fitness & Pilates will engage your deepest core muscles, pelvic floor, hips and spine. You’ll develop muscle strength and memory that will help your body recover faster post-pregnancy. The class incorporates the use of light weights, large balls for seated poses, stretch bands, and some small weight balls.

Sneakers are recommended.

Mom & Baby Yoga

Mom & Baby Yoga and Fitness class offers an opportunity for you to regain strength and flexibility, to bond with your baby, and to connect with other moms. You’re encouraged to take a break at any time to nurture or feed your baby. Babies are encouraged to express themselves in their own way during class and no expectations are placed on the baby’s behavior. The class ends with gentle baby yoga and massage. You are welcome to bring a blanket and baby toys. For babies 0 up to 10 months old.

Wake Up Workout

Start your day off right with some morning movement. This class uses techniques from yoga, pilates, and strength training to stretch away morning stiffness, activate important muscles, and condition both mind and body. The workout incorporates the use of stretch/resistance bands, dumbbells, large balls, and some small weight balls. You do not have to be pregnant to join, everyone is welcome!

Please bring your yoga mat, and sneakers are encouraged.

Our yoga, fitness and Pilates classes are suitable for all levels.
We offer different package options to accommodate all needs and budgets.
Class sizes are limited – we encourage you to register online, however, walk-ins are welcomed as well.

5 Class Pass ($25 Savings) - 6 month expiration

Private Yoga & Fitness Classes

Private Yoga & Fitness classes are one on one sessions that will assist you in growing to the next level. Our experts will watch your form and correct you as you go. Group private sessions can also be set up. Give us a call to set up a private session.

Guidelines for Yoga, Fitness & Pilates Classes


Cancellation Policy - No shows and cancellations within 12 hours of the class will be charged the full fee


Doors open 15 minutes prior to each class - please arrive early to allow for setup time


Please sign in at our guest service desk before entering the yoga studio


Please bring your own water bottle, mat, towel - assortment of mats available for purchase or rent


No shoes are allowed - if you choose to wear socks, please ensure they are slip-resistant


Lockers are available for your belongings


Please maintain 6 feet of distance from other participants


There are no hands-on assists available at this time


Instructors and clients may or may not wear masks
