I came to the United States from the Czech Republic in my early twenties to work with a Houston family as an Au pair to care for their premature baby as well as their older children. Due to my background in pediatric nursing, I started working with other families in the role of a baby nurse/newborn care specialist. Soon after realizing there was a need for American families needing more hands-on support, the idea of the Motherhood Center was formed.
