The role of a baby nurse, also referred to as a doula, varies from one family to another. Many new parents contact the Motherhood Center for guidance, help establish a routine, and help with breast feeding or bottle feeding. Other new moms and dads would like us to visit them on an as needed basis, while others needs our help for a few weeks at a time during the day or night. Our goal is to provide reassurance, education, and care for the new baby and their mom, dad and siblings. Sarah has worked in the Doula Department since 2008. She has been an invaluable part of our Baby Nurse/Doula Team. Sarah’s daughter is now expecting a baby. Sarah just recently stopped by to shop for her new grandchild in our boutique. Congratulations, Sarah! You are going to be a wonderful Grandmother. We love having you on the Motherhood Center Team!
