Parents and caregivers who have figured out how to use cloth baby carriers will tell you that “babywearing” can make it easier to comfort, nurse, transport, and include their children in everyday life. Almost every culture has used cloth baby carriers in some form, but — like tying shoelaces — using them is a skill that can be easier to learn in person than through user manuals and internet tutorials.
As a guest of the Motherhood Center, you are invited to our weekly Mom’s Talk Group which will give you the opportunity to connect with other moms and moms-to be, get support and learn from one another’s experiences. You can share your concerns, questions, joys, challenges, experiences and practical tips. Discussions will cover everything from pregnancy, body image, sleep deprivation, infant development, breastfeeding, pregnancy and baby blues, relationships, childcare choices, new identity, regaining your sense of self, and much more. In a safe, supportive environment we will explore many of the practical as well as emotional aspects of motherhood. Feel free to bring your baby, a brown bag lunch, and your friends.
