Services We are a one-stop shop for mothers everywhere!   The Motherhood Center provides an abundance of services for pregnancy to parenthood. We understand that your needs differ for each stage, that a woman needs to care for both her body and her child. That is why we are happy to provide our services in hopes to exceed expectations.  Please take the time to visit the area that best matches the stage of motherhood you are in.  If you are looking for the perfect baby shower gift for that special mom-to-be in your life, we are able to give gift certificates for any service you see below.    Click photo to enter each service     Baby Nurse/Doula - The goal of a Doula/Baby Nurse is to help establish a comfortable soothing environment for a new Mom in her own home. Doulas/Baby Nurses are trained professionals who are there to attend any of the newborn's needs, as well as those of the new mother. Ultimately, they are there to educate and give hands on assistance to new Moms and Dads. Photography - The Motherhood Center Photography Department strives to provide the best in natural, beautiful portraits. Let us help you create and record images that say exactly how you feel about your baby, your growing family, and your expectations for the future. Include your spouse for a couple’s session and let the quality of our digital studio capture the myriad of emotions that come with the miracle of being a parent. Nanny Placement -  Moms in Houston have located a Premier Nanny Agency within The Motherhood Center.  You may hire the best nannies for full time, part time, temporary, permanent, or seasonal employment.  Newborn, infant, and toddler on up will be happy to greet our nannies in the morning and will be saying goodbye to a friend at the end of each day.  Mom’s source for Nannies, babysitters, night nurses and any child care should be a Houston nanny from The Motherhood Center. Babysitting Service -  We have a large staff of carefully selected, qualified, professional babysitters who are experienced in caring for children from newborn to school age. These women have been personally interviewed, thoroughly screened, and have multiple background checks completed. Each one is CPR certified, (most right here at our center) and at least 21 years of age. Educational Classes -  The Motherhood Center offers educational classes and seminars for mothers during various stages of development, from pregnancy to postpartum and beyond. We service all of metro Houston, as well as The Woodlands, Sugarland, Fort Bend, Clear Lake, Katy, Pearland, Kingwood, and Humble. Children's Classes -  We understand the everyday demands on parents today can be overwhelming and we are happy to help by introducing our new Child Development Classes here at The Motherhood Center.  We wish to provide a resource for your little one to experience exciting events, meet new friends and explore activities for the first time. Yoga -  Prenatal Yoga- Regular exercise builds bones and muscles, gives you energy, and keeps you healthy. It is just as important when you are pregnant. Core Yoga – A mixed level class, Core Yoga is great for those looking to get in shape (or back in shape) and find steadiness and serenity to counter stress and tension.Mommy & Me / Mommy, Daddy & Me – These classes provide an opportunity for you to regain strength and flexibility, to bond with your baby, and to connect with other mom or dads. Prenatal/Regular Massage -  The Motherhood Center encourages all clients to take advantage of our massage services. Our certified massage therapists will ensure that your massage is both safe and enjoyable. Lactation Support & Pump Rental -  At The Motherhood Center we have everything you need to make the transition into breastfeeding as easy and smooth as possible.   Retail Store Labor Doula - we offer a variety of Doula Service from Labor throughout Postpartum.  Our goal is to meet your needs with Doula care.  We are able to match you with a trained, experienced Labor Doula to be there for you and your partner during the delivery. Women in labor truly benefit with the experience and devotion of a Labor Doula.  They are able to rub your back and speak to you calmly and soothingly, encourage your partner to be as involved in the birth as much as he/she desires, and aid communication between you and your partner with the medical staff.  You can rest assured with the knowledge that you and your partner are not alone.  Psychotherapy/Post-Partum Support -  Areas of specialization, but not limited to include: ▪  Mood disorders: Postpartum depression, depression, anxiety ▪  Relationship Counseling: Pre-marital, marital, interfaith, family dynamics, and communication ▪  Life's Transitions: Adjustment to life stages, managing changes of life, & life stressors ▪  Personal Coach: Motivational support for attaining personal & career goals ▪  Referral Source: Consultant for resources for client's personal needs & outsourcing   Baby Shower Registry -  We are pleased to now offer a baby registry.
