Prenatal Yoga

During your pregnancy it's important to set aside time for yourself.  Prenatal yoga gives expecting moms the opportunity to relax, breathe, and connect with their baby.  Our yoga classes will help you ease the discomforts of your pregnancy and help prepare your body for childbirth.

Practicing yoga with other pregnant women can be a great time to meet fellow moms and build friendships and a support system.  The relationships created in our classes can benefit you and your baby post delivery.  No experience in yoga is necessary!

Mom & Baby Yoga

mom-and-baby-yogaThese classes provide an opportunity for you to regain strength and flexibility, to bond with your baby, and to connect with other mom or dads. The class begins with a series of gentle warm-ups and yoga postures designed specifically for a new mom. Mommy & Me Yoga focuses on strengthening the entire body to help you face the physical challenges of life with a new baby.

The benefits of proper breathing, which calms the nervous system and promotes deep relaxation, are emphasized in every class. The class is free flowing and spirited. You may involve your baby in the movements or place your baby on a blanket next to your exercise mat. You are encouraged to take a break at any time to nurture or feed your baby.

Sunrise/Hatha Yoga

Core Yoga Class in Houston, TX

A mixed level class, Sunrise/Hatha Yoga is great for those looking to get in shape (or back in shape) and find steadiness and serenity to counter stress and tension. A moderately-paced, Ashtanga-based, Hatha yoga class designed to build core strength, flexibility, and a calm nervous system, with continued emphasis on breathing and healthy alignment of the body and mind. Beginners are welcome!

Private Yoga

Deepen your practice with private or semiprivate yoga lessons. Create a private session around your schedule and, if you would like, include a friend or partner. By having an instructor attentively guide you through postures with verbal instruction, demonstration and hands-on direction, your individuality will be completely addressed.

Prenatal PIYOLET

PiyoletPIYOLET is PI- Pilates, YO-Yoga, and LET- Ballet fused together in a fun and invigorating workout for the entire body. It is a low impact fitness regimen for all ages, designed to diversify and keep the mind, body and soul refreshed and fit.  Prenatal PIYOLET is specifically tailored to assist pregnant women achieve their health and wellness goals as they go through pregnancy and the labor process.   The workshop will focus on strengthening and stretching the primary muscles needed for pregnancy and labor while lessening any pain or discomfort caused by pregnancy.
