Our Nannies are pre-screened, experienced, qualified professionals who will provide you the peace of mind you need when entrusting your child/children with someone else. Our Houston based Nanny Placement Agency will happily guide you through this process, step by step and be by your side as you make this important choice.

How do we start?
We ask that each family take a moment to sit down and fill out our family application. This application helps you to specify your needs and duties of your Nanny. In addition, this helps us to become more familiar with your needs to better serve you.

We also ask that you read our fee schedule and sign it to indicate to us that you understand our fee structure. Once these forms are completed, please fax, mail in, or drop them off here at The Motherhood Center Nanny Agency. Do not hesitate to contact us at any time in the process, we are here for you!

What are your fees?
At The Motherhood Center there is no application fee. After you have completed our application process and decided to proceed with our agency, there is a search fee of $100.00 to begin the search of finding your Nanny. After that there is no charge until you decide to hire your Nanny. Please refer to our fee schedule form to apply the process to your individual situation.

How do I know if I need Full-Time or Part-Time?
Full Time Nanny= 30 to 50 hours per week. Part Time Nanny= Fewer than 30 hours per week

Do I need a temporary nanny or permanent nanny?
A temporary nanny is typically 3 months or less. Permanent nannies hold a long-term position with your family. Please refer to the fee schedule for more information.

How do you pre-screen your Nannies?
We prefer that all of our Nannies have at least 3 years experience. We require that they have CPR certification. We require that our Nannies have excellent references and pass an extensive background check. Our Nannies are professional childcare providers. They are here to offer you and your family comfort and safety when it comes time to hire that person to care for your children in your home.

How does the interview process work?
First, we have a thorough written application that all of our applicants are required to complete. Then if the candidate is selected to move to the next step, we conduct an in person interview to discuss work history, special qualifications, experience, areas of expertise, and pose hypothetical situations regarding childcare to gain insight into the way each Nanny would handle various situations.

Once we have selected pre-screened, qualified individuals whom we feel will be a right match for you and your family, the interview process begins. You are welcome to interview candidates here at The Motherhood Center, or in your home. Our goal is to make sure you are confident in your child care decision!

I’ve found the perfect Nanny, now what?
Once you have met your match, we ask that you sign our agreement of terms and payment form indicating the specifics of your Nanny’s hours/days to be worked that you and your Nanny have agreed upon. We will determine your placement fee according to our fee schedule, and we will complete the placement process for you. Let the relationship begin!

What if our selection does not work out?
The Motherhood Center has a 90 day replacement agreement (this applies to permanent placements only). Should a replacement become necessary within the first ninety days of employment The Motherhood Center will provide two replacement options without any additional fee from the client.
