At The Motherhood Center, we have a large staff of carefully selected, qualified, professional babysitters who are experienced in caring from newborn to school age children.  These sitters have been personally interviewed, thoroughly screened and have multiple background checks completed.  It is our goal to provide the best possible home childcare, so that you can feel at ease leaving your child.

Babysitting Procedures

In-home Babysitting

We keep it simple.  Easy registration.  No monthly fee.  When you know you want to book a sitter you can do so by filling out our Babysitting Registration Form, available on the left hand side of this page.  There is a four hour minimum booking time at a rate of $75.  Any additional hours are billed at $17/hour.   You will be billed by The Motherhood Center, so no payment needs to be made to your sitter unless it is gratuity.  Please note that we charge double for holidays.

If you have an emergency, do call our office at 713-963-8880. We'll always try to meet last minute requests. Requests made by noon on Friday of the week prior to the date services will be needed, have a better chance of placement.  We will be happy to take your bookings two or three weeks in advance. The more notice you give us the better chance you have of booking your preferred babysitter.

The Registration Form is located in the lower left had column of this page. This form can be emailed back to us or faxed to our office.  *For added convenience you can save this as a file on your home computer and change only the necessary information each time you would like to book a sitter.

As soon as we have arranged for a sitter, we confirm with you and provide the necessary information.  A credit card is required to confirm your reservation.  When service is rendered, the sitter will submit an invoice and your card will then be billed.

Take advantage of our ON-SITE babysitting services!  The Motherhood Center offers onsite babysitting by request so you can schedule one of our many specialized services such as:

• Core Yoga / Pilates

• Mom's Talk support group
• Breastfeeding consultations
• Psychotherapy
• Photography sessions

*NOTE* There will be an additional $25.00 fee for requests made with 24 hours or less notice
