The Motherhood Center Guidelines & Policies
Thank you for registering and purchasing services with The Motherhood Center. We would like to ask you to review our guidelines and policies specific towards the service purchased. These policies are accommodating to our clients as well as fair to The Motherhood Center. Thank you for your understanding.
Education Classes: Pregnancy, Parenting & Children's Classes
Registration & Cancellation Policies
Refunds:
-Full refunds will only be given during the first 48 hours after registration.
-Any refunds issued will be subject to a $15 processing fee.
-After 48 hours clients will be eligible to receive store credit.
-No Refunds will be given for Prelude classes.
-Once classes or series have begun no refunds or pro-ration will be given.
Cancellation:
-Cancellation 48 hours prior to class clients will be eligible to receive store credit
-Cancellation within 48 hours of class, no refund or store credit will be given.
-If the client cancels for medical reason (i.e. bed rest) they will be given credit towards an in home private class (ex: $190 toward private class price)
Yoga/ Wellness Policies
-No refunds or center credit will be given for unused yoga class passes.
-Yoga passes do have expirations. 5 class pass expires 2 months form the date of purchase, 10 class pass will expire 5 months from the date of purchase, and 20 class pass expires in 6 months from date of purchase.
-All pregnancy/wellness/doula packages expire one year from purchase date.
PLEASE NOTE: Yoga passes and Wellness packages cannot be exchanged for other services
Babysitting
-We will charge $25 to fill a request with less than 24 hours notice.
-We will charge $25 to cancel a confirmed request with less than 24 hours notice.
Massage Cancellation Policies
-We will provide a full refund if the cancellation or rescheduling occurs at least 24 hours prior to the appointment.
-Any cancellations or rescheduling made the day of the massage (or left on the front desk voicemail after business hours the night before) will be charged 100% of the original session price. Please note: this policy applies to both cancellations and rescheduling of appointments.
-If we do not receive any notice of a client's cancellation and client does not show up for appointment, then client will be charged 100% of the original session price.
Lactation Consultation, Family Coaching & Photography
This applies to appointments scheduled for in-home/ on location or at The Motherhood Center
-If we don’t receive notice of your cancellation, and you don’t show up for your appointment, we will charge for the full price of the scheduled service.
Kid’s Birthday Parties
-A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your party.
-The deposit will be applied toward the cost of the party.
-Cancellations within 15 days of the party can’t refund deposit.
Baby Nurse/Doula
Deposit and Cancellation Policy:
Client agrees to pay $________ (30%) deposit on the total estimated fees $________. Client acknowledges, in order to receive a full refund on Client’s deposit, Client must cancel in writing no less than 60 days before the projected due date. There will be no refund of deposit with cancellations less than 60 days before the projected due date.
Deposit does not apply to Baby Nurse Packages. When Baby Nurse Package is purchased, client must cancel in writing 60 days or more before projected due date in order to get a refund of 90% of the package chosen. If client cancels package in writing less than 60 days before projected due date, a refund of 70% of package chosen will be made. If client has utilized services included in package, such as Education classes, Yoga classes or Massage, the services will be deducted at full retail price from package before a refund is made. Nanny Agency Placement
-A one-time, $100 search fee must be paid before any referrals can be made. This fee will be credited to any placement/ referral fee.
-Placement/ Referral fees must be paid in full before the nanny starts working.
Labor Doula Policies

General Policies
-Returned checks will incur a $25 processing fee. Re-payment must be received within 24 hours in order to hold a place in a class.
-Gift Certificates expire one year from date of purchase. We honor the amount on the certificate if one chooses to change a specific service designated on the gift card.
