Reinforce your child's ability to learn the alphabet through physical, auditory, and visual stimulation. Designed
for the high energy pace of two- to five-year olds, this class keeps kids on the move as they sign and act their way through the alphabet accompanied by visual aids. Just as babies can sign before they can speak, children can learn to spell before they can write. An excellent pre-reading activity, and lots of fun. Moms and dads are encouraged to attend to learn along with their children and help reinforce their child's retention of the alphabet between classes. No previous signing experience necessary.

"Love it! Love it! Love it! I'm so glad I signed up my 3-year-old for Active Alphabet. Whether or not your child is getting familiar with the alphabet, the way to drive it home is with this class. I was pleasantly surprised after the first day of class when I went shopping with my daughter and she promptly started pointing out letters without any prompting from me…an “N”, “O”, and a “T”. Then as the weeks went on, she was reenacting the class in her imaginative play with her stuffed animals, teaching her other toddler friends, and “teaching” her grandparents how to sign and pronounce letters. By the end of the class, she is truly on the cusp of reading, sounding out letters and beginning to connect them, as well as drawing the letters on her chalk board at home. Thank you to Mimi and her gift of recognizing the ability of children to learn as they are active. Mimi’s multi-faceted formula of reinforcing the alphabet and its sounds is an intelligent and insightful concept. I highly recommend this class."
"...I went to a fabulous class today at The Motherhood Center. They teach the kids the alphabet using pictures then they actually have the kids act out animals…act like an alligator for the letter A, like a duck for the letter D, etc. It’s a phenomenal way for them to practice their ABC’s, reading the words, and to get exercise at the same time." - Lisa (a Mother of a 2 yr old)
