The Motherhood Center offers an atmosphere where you can rejuvenate and refresh your body and mind in our softly lit massage rooms featuring comfortable, plush massage tables and soothing sounds. Be sure to allow a few minutes before or after your session to enjoy a hot shower and a cup of tea. Store your personal belongings in our locker room, slip on a robe and enjoy some well deserved pampering.  It's time for you to be cared for.

Massage Services:

Prenatal Massage

There is no better time to be cared for than during your pregnancy. Pregnancy Massage helps the mom-to-be by relieving muscle cramps in the legs, pain in the back, neck, hips and legs in addition to calming and stabilizing hormone levels. Specific techniques are helpful in relieving lower back pain that you may experience in the later stages of your pregnancy. Tired of swollen hands and feet? Pregnancy massage increases blood and lymph circulation, which can reduce swelling and fatigue. Therapeutic massage also lowers levels of the ‘stress hormone’ cortisol, facilitating deep relaxation for the mom-to-be.

Postnatal Massage

Remember your body before you were pregnant? Postnatal massage is a wonderful way to assist your body in returning to pre-pregnant condition by releasing restrictions in the muscle tissue as well as supporting overall emotional balance. The healing touch received in a massage releases oxytocin, the same neurotransmitter in your breast milk, known to stimulate a relaxation response and improve your ability to manage stress. What new mom doesn’t need that? Give yourself the time you deserve to rejuvenate and relieve the stress associated with being a new mommy, all while supporting your body’s postnatal healing process. Swedish Massage

A relaxing and therapeutic full body massage designed to reduce tension, improve circulation and promote deep relaxation. Swedish massage reduces emotional and physical stress, improves mental focus, and encourages more restful sleep. You will leave your session feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep Tissue Massage addresses chronic pain and tension in the body with a focus on releasing tight and restricted muscles. Benefits include improved flexibility, pain relief and greater freedom in movement.

Massage for children

The benefits of massage therapy are not just for adults. Children of all ages, from infants to teen years, benefit from massage in the following ways: decreased muscle tension, enhanced immune function, increased focus and concentration in school, supported nervous system development, relaxation and improved sleep.

Hot Stone Massage

Take your massage experience to a new level with this deeply soothing and rejuvenating hot stone treatment. Deep penetrating heat is effective in releasing muscle tension, headaches and other issues associated with muscular pain and dysfunction, as well as improving overall circulation.

In-Home Massage

Whether you are on bed-rest or simply would rather stay at home, our therapists are available to visit you in the comfort and privacy of your home or in your hospital room. You can expect the same quality treatment that you would receive at The Motherhood Center. Please allow fifteen minutes prior to your massage appointment time for the therapist to set up her table.

Couple’s or Friend’s Massage

Share the benefits of massage therapy with someone special. You and your loved one will enjoy the experience of deep relaxation in a shared room with two therapists. Bring a friend for a day out together and leave refreshed.

Cancellation Policy- Clients must call The Motherhood Center 24 hours in advance or will be charged 100% of the original session price. This charge applies to cancellations as well as rescheduling. Failure to call or arrive for your appointment will result in a charge in the full amount of the massage.
