Child Development Classes
Prelude Music-Infant and Family Classes-features the musical talent of Ana Trevino Godfrey. Ana is trained in opera and her great enthusiasm and genuine love of music and people has been shared with adults and children alike. Give your child an exciting early musical benefit including: language development, ear training, music appreciation, foreign language skills and creativity. Current brain development research proves that early music experience helps children learn faster and focus better. Singing to children is heart warming and developmentally important!
Fall Session Dates
Ballet-This is a wonderful introduction to ballet. The class involves basic ballet with the positions of the feet, hands and body. This also includes creative dance techniques and activities to enhance coordination, balance, and motor skills Ages 3 1/2-5yrs
2nd Session Dates will be available soon.
Pre-Dance-This beginners dance class is for children 18 months- 2 years old. The class focuses mainly on the use of basic skills and fundemental use of the body. Balance and coordination is the main concept of the class. Activities will include tap, ballet, gym. Instructor Angel Goines. Please call 713-963-8880 if interested.

Children's Safety Seminar- The MotherhoodCenterhas designed a self awareness class using “Kid Safe” practices and Aikido games. An introduction to Aikido discipline will be taught which will include falling and rolling techniques. Class will include teaching kids what to do when approached by a stranger. Initial parental supervision is required. This seminar is open to children ages 5 and up.
