Breastfeeding Support
Congratulations on your decision to Breastfeed!
This is the most wonderful gift you can give to your new baby.
Now, where do you start???
We recommend at The Motherhood Center that you start preparing for breastfeeding during your pregnancy by attending one of our breastfeeding classes. Registration is available online. René Bryan RN, CLE is on staff to help with all your questions regarding breastfeeding, the different pumps, bras or products available, Breastfeeding Class and Lactation Consultation. She is a registered nurse with over 12 years experience in helping moms and babies through birth and the first few weeks postpartum. She also has a certification in breastfeeding education and has been teaching at The Motherhood Center since it opened in 2003. She has two children of her own which she breastfed for 12-18 months. In addition to her in depth knowledge of breastfeeding, she enjoys helping moms gain the close, loving bond that breastfeeding brings. She provides non-judgemental guidance to all moms. Rene's goal is to enable a mother to be confident and comfortable with breastfeeding so that it fits her particular lifestyle from home to the workplace.
If you have already delivered your baby and have specific questions you would prefer to discuss in private, our Lactation Consultants are available by phone as well as in-person visits here at The Motherhood Center or in the comfort of your own home!
